30 years ago, Ray converted an old corn crib into a "butcher shop" that he used to do the family's beef and pork in.  Over the years friends would bring their animals to him or buy animals from him to be processed.  Evan, Daron and Brady (Ray and Kim's sons) would help when they grew old enough, especially during deer season.

In August, 2016 we had a new building constructed to include a smoke room and a retail store front.  We continued to process animals under Custom and in September 2017, received our USDA inspection.  In May 2018, we obtained our retail license and opened up our small store front where customers can stop in and purchase cuts of meat, sausages, bolognas, brisket, ham loaves, stuffed pork chops, jerky, soups, etc., from the deli or freezer.

The whole family pitches in to help with the daily running of the business, it truly is a family affair.
